We hope you'll join us at PHLOX FEST: ReWild Missoula for a FREE & FAMILY FRIENDLY good time!

Festivities include:

MUSIC by Good Old Fashioned!

FOOD Trucks from Sa Wad Dee Food Truck and Puma!

NATIVE PLANT VENDORS including Pipilo Native Plants, Great Bear Native Plants, Center for Native Plants, Phoenixes Rising, Mountain Time Plants, Forestoration, and more!

TABLING by the Department of Ecology & Extension, and partner organizations including the Missoula Conservation District, Missoula Butterfly House & Insectarium, Montana Native Plant Society, Xerces Society, City Urban Forestry, Montana Department of Natural Resources & Conservation, Five Valleys Seed Library, and more!

This year's theme is "ReWild Missoula", promoting awareness around habitat conservation and creation. Our staff and partners will provide you with ideas and information about actions you can take in your own yard, garden, patio, and outdoor spaces to support wildlife.

WHY PHLOX FEST
Rocky Mountain Gardens logo is adorned with the Missoula Phlox (Phlox missoulensis), a species of concern that has only been found within Missoula County. We chose this unassuming flower for its special link to Missoula, and as a reminder of the importance of native plant conservation.

Missoula Phlox typically flowers from mid-April till June. You can visit several of these plants in our Montana Crevice Garden where they will be blooming for the festivities!”
